Inspired by the wisdom and heroism of the wizard Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings, the Badali Jewelry artists created the Wisdom of Gandalf pendant. The medallion is engraved with the sage advise given to Frodo in The Fellowship of the Rings, “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” We will all experience periods of difficulty during life, but they need not destroy us. We can choose what to do with that time and we can rise above it. The back of the pendant is engraved with the quote’s citation – Gandalf, The Fellowship of the Rings, J.R.R. Tolkien and features two smoldering pipes of Longbottom leaf and Gandalf’s signature rune. The Wisdom of Gandalf pendant is officially licensed with Middle-earth Enterprises. The Gandalf necklace is skillfully crafted in your choice of sterling silver or yellow bronze. Both are hand finished with an antiquing treatment. The pendant measures approximately 32.9 mm (just over 1 1/4″) long including bail, 28.9 mm (1 1/8″) wide, and 2.2 mm (just over 1/16”) thick. The Wisdom of Gandalf pendant weighs approximately 13.2 grams in sterling silver, 11.2 grams in bronze.
